In early 1999, I decided to quit my day job and move to Montana to become a fishing guide. I built a wooden boat and a trailer and I haven’t looked back. I’ve been guiding on the Bighorn River since 1999.

I was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana and grew up fishing the Missouri River and the small streams of that area. I have always had a passion for the outdoors.

As of May 2002, I was fortunate enough to become manager of Eagle Nest Lodge alongside my wife, Rebecca. Since then my duties have increased, but I’m still guiding fisherman and bird hunters, which I truly enjoy. What better office can a guy have than catching trophy trout and hunting birds in this beautiful Big Sky Country.

In our off time you can find me on the river catching those rainbows and browns, bird hunting with my bird dogs all over the state, chasing Bones and Permit in Mexico, or going after Tarpon in Florida.
